N-Lase Desktop
Entry-level, cost effective
The Desktop is an entry-level option within the N-Lase range. It boasts a compact size that is ideal for placement on top of a desk or benchtop, without taking up too much space. This laser engraver does not compromise on quality output and delivers outstanding results. Additionally, the Desktop is a cost-effective solution that offers great value for money. It is semi-automated in its operation, and comes with a manual door that can be easily accessed by the user.
Intelligent, modular design
Our Desktop Laser has been designed with a highly intelligent and modular system. This innovative design allows for swift and seamless modifications to the machine, ensuring that it remains adaptable to your business needs from the outset. With this product, you can be confident that you are investing in a solution that will evolve alongside your business. We recognise that as your business expands, so too will your engraving demands.
Premium components
When choosing a laser engraving machine, it's essential to prioritise quality and dependability. We use only top-quality parts and components in the construction of our machines, ensuring our customers receive consistent, high-performance results capable of withstanding the challenges of industrial settings. Our dedication to quality is evident in the impressive MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) of our machines, which surpasses 100,000 hours.
Key Features
Manual Door
The Desktop features a manual door that is equipped with a counterweight mechanism to ensure that once the door is lifted, it remains open. This feature enhances the user experience and ensures that the process of placing parts into the machine is a comfortable and hassle-free experience. The handle has been ergonomically designed with maximum usability in mind, making it effortless to use even for prolonged periods of time.
20 or 50W MOPA Fibre Laser
The Desktop has the capability to accommodate both 20W and 50W laser sources, making it an optimal choice. By upgrading, the machine can perform a wider range of tasks and is better suited for marking various materials. This machine can mark up to 99% of all materials. By applying different settings in the custom N-Lase software, the machine can achieve a variety of marks such as annealing, deep engraving, and ablation.
Motor Adjusting Focus Height
The software that comes with the Desktop allows for the calibration of the z-axis, which enables the adjustment of the focus height without the need for manual intervention. Once the parts are loaded, users can easily operate the software to adjust the z-axis, and subsequently, mark parts with precision and accuracy. This eliminates the need for any manual adjustments, making the entire process more efficient and user-friendly.
Air Cooled
The Desktop is equipped with a built-in fan at the back, which eliminates the need for large, cumbersome water coolers to cool the laser source. The lack of any external cooling apparatus makes the Desktop an ideal choice for desktop use. The fan prevents the laser source from overheating during use, ensuring that the marking process is seamless and consistent. This enhances the efficiency of the machine and contributes to its longevity.
Rotary Options
All of our machines come equipped with a plug and play rotary attachment, making them ready to use for rotary marking. This enables the laser to mark cylindrical or round objects around their inner or outer circumference, while the rotary mechanism ensures consistent marking in the desired location. The Desktop bed features a tooling plate that allows the rotary attachment to move throughout the bed, allowing for parts of all sizes.
3-Sided Access
The Desktop's door is designed to open inward, within the boundaries of its original footprint. This unique feature ensures that the machine's overall footprint remains unchanged even when the door is open, providing unobstructed access from three sides. Consequently, parts of various shapes and sizes can be easily inserted into the machine from any angle. This feature was designed so that it optimises functionality.
Class 4 Override Option
All of our standard range machines, with the exception of the integrated models, are designed as Class 1 laser systems. This classification ensures that the laser beam is entirely contained within the unit, enabling the machines to be used safely in any environment. The door of each machine features a viewing window made of laser safety glass, which enables operators to monitor the marking process while ensuring their safety. Moreover, each machine comes equipped with a Class 4 override option, enabling the system to function as a Class 4 laser. This is particularly useful when marking parts that are too large to fit on the bed of the machine with the door closed. It is important to note that using the laser as a Class 4 device requires the implementation of specific safety procedures to ensure the protection of operators and bystanders.
