N-Lase Benchtop

Great versatility

The Benchtop is a larger version of the Desktop and Desktop Pro with the same style and design. This makes it highly versatile for industries that need to mark larger parts, as it has more space and room to work with. It also allows for marking out larger areas. The Benchtop is a high-end industrial solution that can improve traceability, save costs on outsourcing, speed up application times, and provide in-house control. It is designed to work alongside industrial working benches. The N-Lase Benchtop has a modular design and larger size, which allows for easy upgrades such as a 4-axis control system or auto-part recognition. Additionally, upon request, it can incorporate higher power sources and Co2 technology.

Changing with your needs

Similar to our other products, the N-Lase Benchtop is a modular system that allows for expansion and changes without requiring a complete system replacement. However, this system takes it a step further by being designed to accommodate a wide variety of laser heads, providing maximum flexibility. Additionally, it comes standard with multi-waveform MOPA fiber technology.

An Expansive Workspace

The N-Lase Benchtop offers a spacious workspace and an open interior that allows for easy marking of larger components, fixtures, or parts. It has been designed with operator comfort in mind, and features an automatic door at the front for easy access.

Key Features

Auto Door

The Benchtop features an automatic door, with an open and close mechanism that ensures user safety when the laser is operating. When the door is open, you have a U-shaped work area, open on three sides. This feature enhances the user experience and ensures that the process of placing parts into the large opening of the machine is a comfortable and hassle-free experience. Ideal for higher volume operations.

20 or 50W MOPA Fibre Laser

The Benchtop has the capability to accommodate both 20W and 50W laser sources, making it an optimal choice. By upgrading, the machine can perform a wider range of tasks and is better suited for marking various materials. This machine can mark up to 99% of all materials. By applying different settings in the custom N-Lase software, the machine can achieve a variety of marks such as annealing, deep engraving, and ablation.

Motor Adjusting Focus Height

The software that comes with the Benchtop allows for the calibration of the z-axis, which enables the adjustment of the focus height without the need for manual intervention. Once the parts are loaded, users can easily operate the software to adjust the z-axis, and subsequently, mark parts with precision and accuracy. This eliminates the need for any manual adjustments, making the entire process more efficient and user-friendly.

Air Cooled

The Benchtop is equipped with a built-in fan at the back, which eliminates the need for large, cumbersome water coolers to cool the laser source. The lack of any external cooling apparatus makes the Benchtop an ideal choice for desktop use. The fan prevents the laser source from overheating during use, ensuring that the marking process is seamless and consistent. This enhances the efficiency of the machine and contributes to its longevity.

Rotary Options

All of our machines come equipped with a plug and play rotary attachment, making them ready to use for rotary marking. This enables the laser to mark cylindrical or round objects around their inner or outer circumference, while the rotary mechanism ensures consistent marking in the desired location. The Benchtop bed features a tooling plate that allows the rotary attachment to move throughout the bed, allowing for parts of all sizes.

3-Sided Access

The Benchtop door is designed to open inward, within the boundaries of its original footprint. This unique feature ensures that the machine's overall footprint remains unchanged even when the door is open, providing unobstructed access from three sides. Consequently, parts of various shapes and sizes can be easily inserted into the machine from any angle. This feature was designed so that it optimises functionality.

Class 4 Override Option

All of our standard range machines, with the exception of the integrated models, are designed as Class 1 laser systems. This classification ensures that the laser beam is entirely contained within the unit, enabling the machines to be used safely in any environment. The door of each machine features a viewing window made of laser safety glass, which enables operators to monitor the marking process while ensuring their safety. Moreover, each machine comes equipped with a Class 4 override option, enabling the system to function as a Class 4 laser. This is particularly useful when marking parts that are too large to fit on the bed of the machine with the door closed. It is important to note that using the laser as a Class 4 device requires the implementation of specific safety procedures to ensure the protection of operators and bystanders.
